For 7th-12th Grade Students:

• Tuesday the senior athletes on the volleyball and cross country team will be recognized at the volleyball game vs James Valley Christian at DC.
• JH girls basketball practice will start this Wednesday. Practice will be at LA Wednesday and Thursday, and at DC on Friday.
• Quiz Bowl team your next match is 9:15 a.m. Wednesday!
For Preschool-6th Grade Students:
• Lunch Times: 11:40 a.m. – preschool; 11:45 a.m. – kindergarten; 11:50 a.m. – 1st/2nd grades; 11:55 p.m. – 3rd/4th grades; 12:00 p.m. – 5th/6th grades
• 5th/6th Friday is band.
Parents/Readers on the Web:
• The junior class is selling calendars again this year! For $15, you will receive not just a calendar, but the opportunity to include birthdays and anniversaries of loved ones so community members can share in the celebration. Please reach out to a junior to place an order by November 6th.
• Please consider bringing something to sell at the Bake Sale for the Fall Fling this Saturday.
• Fall Fling Vendor Craft Fair is THIS SATURDAY 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the school gym! Invite your friends and family to check out all the vendors, start Christmas shopping, eat lunch and enjoy coffee and goodies while you shop!

Tuesday, Nov. 5 – the winner of the #8 seed and #9 seed will play the #1 seed at the #1 seed; the winner of the #7 seed and #10 seed will play the #2 seed at the #2 seed; #4 seed plays #5 seed at the #4 seed; #3 seed plays the #6 seed a the #3 seed

• Give the gift of joy this holiday season! DCS students are selling Jars of Joy for a $10 suggested donation. Each jar is filled with scriptures and prayers meant to bring joy and hope throughout the year. All proceeds go towards our Christmas giving project supporting victims of abuse and sex trafficking in Guatemala. • P-G/AC/DC Competitive Cheer and Dance team (DC's Brooklyn Hubers and Alyssa Middendorp) is in Rapid City to compete at State Cheer and Dance TODAY. If you are a Midstate TV customer you can tune in on channel 243 Friday and watch Cheer at 6:35 p.m., Hip Hop at 7:07 p.m., and Pom at 8:31 p.m. (CST).
• AC/DC Thunder cross country runners (DC's EIlie DeHaan and Aspen Niewenhuis) will also travel to Rapid City and compete at State Cross Country on Saturday at 12 noon (EST).
• Tuesday, Oct. 29, the senior athletes on the volleyball and cross country team will be recognized at the volleyball game vs James Valley Christian at DC.
• The Dordt Hunt is November 6, 7, 8, and 9. If you have land that you would allow to be hunted please call Randy Niewenhuis or Delwin Feenstra. This is a great fundraiser for Dakota Christian School.
