Dakota Christian School

Home

50 years ago the DCHS Board purchased a building to temporarily house a student body.  It was secured for $125, $100 of which was returned when the ground from which it had been taken was returned to normal.  The building came complete with furnace and restrooms.  The Board recognized God's  providential hand in making this building available at so little cost.

Education began in this building September, 1956.  A science lab addition was constructed in 1959, and one year later the kitchen and gym.  An industrial arts room and music room were added in 1975.  Finally, a principal's house was constructed on campus in 1978.

945 students have graduated from Dakota Christian High School over the past 50 years.  You will find most faithfully serving the Lord in all walks of life including that of Christian school teachers and principals, and pastors and missionaries. (05/06)
